I need the support of a cane to walk and could not do so for even five minutes. The pain was unbearable to walk, stand or lie down in certain position. I had the endoscopic laser spine discectomy by Dr. Liu in October, 2007. Immediately after the surgery I could walk home without the use of the cane. In the next four weeks I gradually increased my distance. In the sixth week after the surgery I could walk for an hour with very little discomfort.
